Both Yr8 and 9 enjoyed brilliant days and avoided the rain at OPM RFC. Playing tactically sound rugby and with increasing aggression we matched most teams but got edged out of some games through opposition speed and power from individual players.
Tackling and positional awareness were definite areas of most improvement for both teams during the day and, although we did not win, our style of play and knowledge made sure we stayed close. With 7th for Yr9 and 5th for Yr8 overall, we are still training and looking forward to more matches when lighter evenings return.
